Actually, I think if I saw an octopus leap out of the water and perform a cartwheel it would scare the heck out of me!
Perhaps that’s why they keep their gymnastic abilities to themselves…?

I’ve been here….at my computer….trying desparately to get it working correctly again.
Sorry if you have been missing the Doodles! I will start drawing again when I am finished untangling all this mess…
So I have been doodling a little each day, as is my wont…
But it seems that I haven’t actually been getting around to posting the doodles.
…{{sigh}}…
One of these days, I will perfect my routine, I promise…

O we have all been having such cabin fever this January! Today, the weather was sunny and beautiful. Everyone was anxious to get out. The horses didn’t even want to wait for the stable doors to open!!

Now, I’ve never actually seen them, of course…but I am sure that they must be stopping by lately because things have been disappearing from the laundry room. It must be gnomes! I can’t think of any other soul who would be interested in taking my socks!

So, as I was sitting in my living room today–it occurs to me that the time really has come to take down the Christmas decorations. And truthfully, it was not even the tree that caught my attention–it was the dried mistletoe, which looked awfully out of place as it drooped under the archway…
Don’t worry…I’ll get to it soon enough.
Those of you who have been following my Daily Doodles know that I post my designs very late in the evenings. I am very much a night owl. And truth be told, the evenings have been, historically, when I get into my most creative modes…
And, those of you who have been following my Daily Doodles have no doubt noticed that my postings over these last few days have been rather sporadic. This has been due to a huge shift in my daily schedule…which is forcing me to arise at a much earlier time than to which I have been accustomed…and unfortunately, my creative mind has simply not adjusted yet.
So please bear with me while I try and “get it together”…
I am sure that I shall be back to feeling like myself again soon!
